Product Description

The electric insulation tape tesaflex 53988 is a reliable helper for electricians, mechanics and other handymen. It is characterized by its relatively thick base material, a high degree of flexibility and a very good adhesive performance (even on steel and at low temperatures).

  • Certified according to IEC 60454-3-1 (VDE, IMQ, SEMKO), VOC-certified, RoHS 2.0 and REACH conform
  • Thick backing material (150 μm)
  • High dielectric breakdown voltage (7.000 V)
  • Heat-resistant up to +90° C

tesa® 58663 Heavy Duty Cloth Gaffer Tape

Product Description

tesa® 58663 PVC cloth tape combines a heavy duty PE laminated cloth backing with a high strength natural rubber adhesive. The natural rubber adhesive allows for easy application and strong holding power on many rough and hard to stick surfaces such as carpet and many plastics. The heavy duty PE laminated cloth backing is waterproof, abrasive resistant and provides short term temperature resistance up to 93°C, making it suitable in even the toughest conditions.

Main applications

tesa® 58663 Heavy Duty Cloth Tape is well suited for a wide range applications where high strength and holding power are required. Application ideas:

tesa® 4688 Cloth Tape

Product Description

tesa® 4688 is the industry standard polyethylene coated cloth tape. It is based on a 55-mesh woven fabric backing, coated with a pressure sensitive natural rubber adhesive. The cloth tape features excellent adhesion even on rough surfaces as well as a high tack and high initial bonding strength. tesa® 4688 is a general repair tape, convenient for a variety of needs with excellent handling properties. The cloth repair tape is waterproof, resistant to temperatures of up to 110°C, abrasion-resistant and easy to unwind. Manual application is easy thanks to its hand-tearability. tesa® 4688 is certified to be used in nuclear power stations. It is available in various colours.

Product Description

tesa 4591 is a general purpose bidirectional filament tape based on glass filaments laminated to polyester film.  The tape is used for industrial bundling, palletising and fixing applications.
